Policies
-
ACCESS Neuro Support respects the privacy of all individuals and families. Information shared is treated as confidential and will not be shared without consent. Confidentiality may be breached where there is a safeguarding concern or a legal duty to disclose information. Maintaining confidentiality helps build trust and effective advocacy.
-
ACCESS Neuro Support complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Personal information may include contact details and relevant education or benefits information required to provide advocacy services. Data is stored securely, used only for agreed purposes, and retained only as long as necessary. Clients have the right to access, amend, or request deletion of their data.
-
ACCESS Neuro Support is committed to safeguarding children, young people, and adults at risk. Any safeguarding concerns are taken seriously and acted upon in line with statutory guidance. Where required, information may be shared with appropriate agencies to protect wellbeing. Safeguarding responsibilities always take priority over confidentiality.
-
ACCESS Neuro Support provides independent advocacy, guidance, and support. Our role is to help individuals and families understand processes, express their views, and make informed decisions. We do not make decisions on behalf of clients and do not provide legal representation. Responsibility for decisions remains with the individual, parent, or statutory body.
-
All fees are agreed before support begins. Payment is required prior to or at the time services are delivered unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any changes to scope or cost will be discussed and confirmed with the client in advance.
-
ACCESS Neuro Support aims to provide a high-quality service. If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service, concerns should be raised as soon as possible. Complaints should be made in writing where possible, will be acknowledged within 5 working days, and responded to within 14 working days.
-
ACCESS Neuro Support is committed to equality, inclusion, and respect for all individuals. Services are delivered without discrimination and with respect for neurodiversity, identity, culture, and individual circumstances. We work in a person-centred and accessible way.
